England: Eight days to go.

This blog gets its name from the Thai for 'going travelling' or 'wandering about'. Yes, I know it sounds like a pretentious London restaurant. It's a blog, it has to have a 'strokey beardy' name. It's the law. At least I didn't call it 'Chris and Jacqui's Travelblog'.

During this trip, Jacqui and I will travel all around South East Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and maybe more) from early January until late Spring. Then we will head off to Europe, where we will spend a lot of our time in the East in countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Croatia. You can read some snippets of what we've been doing here as we move around.

  1. Hope you both enjoy Thailand! I'll be following your blog but I expect more humour from you in the future please Chris. C-plus for this effort so far, although the picture is very good - did you take it yourself?

I briefly went to Koa Tao(?) a couple of years ago and it was great. Not as touristy as the other Islands (Samui, Pan-Yang) but full of bounty advert-type beaches! The entire country reminds me of James Bond, the man with the golden gun so look out for 3 nippled men!!

I think a wooden frog that actually croaks sounds amazing.

  2. Fraid the pic is not mine. If I take one half that good with my diddy Sony digital I'll probably do a little jig.

Will work on the humour. Appreciate the honesty.

Ben walks into a bar and whoops he's hit his head.

    That better?

    *awkward silence*
